Seppelt Great Western – Country Feature Wedding
Their story: Shannon and Ash live in Horsham. It was easiest to get to know them via Skype and phone calls. They met when they were 15 years old and Ash was coming across to play football. Shannon runs her own physio business that keeps her really busy.
On the day: Shannon and Ash wanted the wedding ceremony and lunch time reception to be all in one location. Seppelt was hence a great choice because of its beautiful lawns, and the homestead acted as a great backdrop for the ceremony. They wanted the wedding to be fun and relaxed, and had organised lawn games such as quoits, jumbo jenga and bocci! Straight after the ceremony, the guests relaxed under the umbrellas, whilst canapes and roaming lunch was served. For dessert they had a chocolate fountain and petite fours.
Seppelt winery has so much history having been around since the late 1800’s. We were lucky enough to have access to the amazing underground cellar, spanning over 2km of tunnels. The photos we took down there have a very dark and mysterious look about them, like the tunnels. Shannon and Ash were so thrilled for the photos that we are booked in to shoot her brother’s wedding next year!
