Vue on Halcyon – Feature wedding

Their Story: These two lovebirds met at high school, and it was  a long romance getting engaged after living together for 5years. I met Gavin working at the Coffee Club at Know O’zone when I was 20, so it was so great to be able to photograph the wedding of these two whom I known since their relationship was quite new.

On the day: Gavin and Caitlin got married at their school church Sacred Heart Parish Church perched atop a hill in Croydon. These two are just so natural together and they wanted fun candid photographs. There was some concern about the rain coming in, but I loved that that allowed me to get the dramatic grey sky photographs in the vines.

So much love, fun and good energy with the bridal party on the day continued into the night where Gav and Caitlin had planned some fun games during the speaches and their guests definitely knew how to set the dance floor on fire! They would have continued all night if they could.

A highlight for the evening was sneaking the couple out to do some sparkler shots after it stopped raining. This not only allowed us to get some amazing images, but gave Gavin and Caitlin 10mins to cuddle and have some air and space to slow down and enjoy what they had achieved planning such an amazing day.
